Another Alternative Energy That Just Needs Funding
A simple low tech way to power vehicles without fuel. Wind turbines have been proven to effectively generate power which can then be used for propulsion. Using one large turbine or multiple small ones, the energy generated from wind can be applied to propulsion. Using multiple small turbines on electric vehicles to recharge batteries the range can be significantly increased.
Proof of concept videos
Experiments have been conducted by many people that prove wind turbine powered vehicles is a viable concept using simple direct drive turbine-to-propeller as well as turbine-to-wheel designs.
One large wind turbine is shown here able to power electric propulsion on a full size boat.
Multiple small wind turbines are shown here able to power one larger motor on an electric car using battery power to initiate the motion and very little battery power to sustain it, If each alternator is putting 300watts back to the batteries at 65 so the total 3Kw adds to the power for a 6Kw drive motor, the turbines dramatically extend the range.
I intend to develop this simple technology for boats and automobiles using stylish turbine designs to make these these crude proof of concept vehicles into attractive products.

I have reason to believe that if we tow a small trailer with 50 of my little 500 watt wind turbines, the total output from these turbines could actually generate the 25Kw required to power an electric vehicle powerful enough to tow them. Even if it's not enough, to fully power the electric vehicle, the trailer will make a nice collection of turbines generating attention to stimulate sales as we drive it around and deliver them to customers.
Wind Electric Hybrid Vehicle Concepts

I realized about ten years ago that a wind turbine that uses its own power to propel it into the wind could increase the wind speed for the turbine.
Since then, I have been telling everyone that will listen to me about this concept, but I have yet to afford to build such a vehicle for myself.
Fortunately some people have already built some machines that prove this technology is viable and examples are viewable at the above You tube links.
Since vehicles have to plow through the air anyway, why not generate clean energy while it does?
Using intelligent design, we can minimize the drag and maximize the power of wind turbines on electric vehicles. I created this Illustration by combining a beautiful concept design from peugeot with a turbine design from Sorensen.
I have also designed some other low drag high performance wind turbines that will help extend the range of electric vehicles.
I'm ready and willing to work with anyone interested in developing this and other clean technologies further.
